My overall experience so far at WVU has been amazing. I have met so many new people, that will be friends for life. I tried new things, including lacrosse at WVU, and I joined Project 168, to get myself involved. I try really hard in school, and this past semester, I made the dean's list. I really enjoyed the many opportunities that there is available to get students involved within the campus. There's not much I would change about the school!

My overall experience at WVU was great! My freshman year was rocky along with other students who were freshmen during COVID-19 as there were some shared tragedies. However, like many others, I continued my education and entrusted the staff and professors in my journey to my future career. I made many lifelong friends, and studied until I dropped and graduated alongside my peers. I wouldn't trade the experience that I had for anything.

WVU excels particularly in fields like engineering, health sciences, and business, providing students with ample opportunities for hands-on learning and research. I enjoy that it has crime scene houses for my Forensic Examiner degree.
The campus environment is vibrant, featuring a mix of historic and modern buildings set against the scenic backdrop. WVU boasts a spirited community with a strong sense of Mountaineer pride, particularly evident during athletic events. This is a bit disappointing if you’re not into sports since that can make people feel left out since that's the largest part of the culture here.
It also has been experiencing cuts with culture, language, and other departments that led to protests by the students. It’s disappointing to see a campus limit learning/diversity and force some students to transfer out since they can’t finish their degree.
